In 2019 Arabia launched four Moomin mugs. The pattern design was based on Gutsy Animations’ animation series Moominvalley. This mug was in production until the end of 2019. The mug pictures Snufkin and Moomintroll fishing on the bridge. This was the very first time that the designs in Moomin mugs were based on a 3D animation series. The series is based on the original Moomin stories by Tove and Lars Jansson. A high fire technique was used to guarantee the high quality of the surface. A new Moominvalley bottom stamp was added to the mugs in this series.
