The winter seasonal mug of 2018 is called Light Snowfall. A set of miniature mugs, a bowl and two spoons were released simultaneously. The light blue mug pictures Moomintroll greeting the snowfall with excitement. Tove Slotte used Tove Jansson’s novel Moominland Midwinter to create the pattern, and managed to generate an impressive design. The original piece is in black and white, but in the mug it is blue and white. The original artwork was created using different techniques than most of Tove Jansson’s designs. Seasonal stickers have been used in the mugs since 2006.
