The black and white mug, Moomintroll Daydreaming, is considered very rare. It was released in 2005 for Arabia Museum’s Moomin exhibition and only 2005 pieces were produced. The mug was sold in a cardboard box that had Arabia’s logo printed on it. There’s a special text in the bottom stamp of the mug: “Muumipeikko Unelmoi • Mumintrollet Dagdrömmer • Moomintroll Daydreaming • 2005”. The original illustration is from Tove Jansson’s novel Moominsummer Madness. The mug was designed by Tove Slotte, and the mug is one of her favourites: “Moomintroll Daydreaming is one of my favourites due to the theme, but also for the graphic and peaceful appearance. It was the first mug with no added colours, so it has a very original Tove Jansson feel to it.”
