Too-Ticky is skilled at solving problems, and she is quite perky by nature. Too-Ticky spends her winters in the Moomin bath house, with invisible shrews to keep her company! Too-Ticky believes that everyone learns through their experiences and mistakes. She likes repairing things. Too-Ticky wears a striped shirt, dark trousers and a cap with a tussle. With her contemplating nature Mymble is more like her step-brother Snufkin. On the outside she resembles Little My, as she wears her hair in the same way and wears a pink dress. Mymble is introduced in Tove Jansson’s novel The Memoirs of Moominpappa.

Salome

Salome

The Hattifatteners

The Hattifatteners

Wandering silently in large flocks, the Hattifatteners are peculiar creatures. Hattifatteners don’t eat, sleep or speak at all. They are only interested in traveling forward, to the horizon and beyond. Hattifatteners resemble narrow and pointy mushrooms, with tiny arms and eyes. When it thunders, they transform into lightning rods and should be avoided. Otherwise they are quite harmless. On the Midsummer day Hattifatteners gather together on their own island, but after that they continue their eternal wandering. The first time hattifatteners were seen in Tove Jansson’s novel The Moomins and the Great Flood.

Toffle

Toffle
