Journey Finnair 100 Years (2023)

Limited availability from October 9, 2023. The Journey Moomin mug celebrates the 100-year journey of the Finnish airline Finnair. It is one of the world's oldest continuously operating airlines. This mug is the first published Moomin mug by Moomin Arabia's fresh in-house design team and illustrator Parvati Pillai. The illustration on the Journey mug is based on the book The Exploits of Moominpappa (Tove Jansson 1950), in which Moominpappa reminisces about his adventurous youth. While exploring the world, Moominpappa and his travel companions encounter all sorts of new and unfamiliar things, sometimes finding themselves in seemingly dangerous situations. However, they overcome everything and return home much richer in experience. The mug is available at both Moomin shops at Helsinki Airport: one in the Arrivals Hall (accessible without a flight) and the other in the Schengen area (accessible only when departing or arriving on a Schengen flight), as well as at the Moomin shop at Oslo Gardemoen Airport. Additionally, the mug will be available for sale at Stockmann department stores, Moomin Arabia's online store, the Iittala store at Helsinki Airport, and selected sales points in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark: Iittala & Co. in Borås, Kitchen Oslo Torggata, and Illums Bolighus at Copenhagen Airport. In Japan, the mug will be available at selected Iittala stores.
