A new 0,4 litres version of the 90's Mug Green was released on May 20th, 2022. The new version uses the same illustrations as in the original classic mug from the 90's, but the cartoon-like squares have been removed from the new mug. Another noticeable difference to the original is the mug volume. Typically the Moomin mugs hold the capacity of 0,3 litres, but the new Mug Green is slightly bigger, holding 0,4 litres. The original images are from Tove Jansson’s comic strip #8 Moomin Begins a New Life.
