Rebel Club 0,4L (2026–)

Moomin Mug Rebel Club is one of the four 0.4-litre mugs in Moomin Arabia’s new Rebel Club collection. Inspired by Tove Jansson’s Moomin comics, the collection combines bold colours, humorous storytelling and quotes taken directly from the comic strips. Rebel Club will become part of Moomin Arabia’s continuous collection, and the products will be available from July 29, 2026. The illustration on the Rebel Club mug is based on Tove Jansson’s comic strip Club Life in Moomin Valley (1957). In the story, Moominpappa becomes fascinated by Moominvalley’s latest trend of forming secret societies and decides to establish his own “Rebel Club”, built around the idea of breaking rules. Ironically, the club soon becomes the exact opposite of what it set out to be, quickly creating a set of rules of its own. The mug features a rebellious and independent Moominpappa alongside scenes that playfully explore themes of freedom, authority and rule-breaking. The Rebel Club mug represents the collection’s distinctive style, where the illustrations are arranged like miniature comic-strip scenes filled with humour, drama and expressive characters. The Rebel Club collection launches a new series of 0.4-litre mugs from Moomin Arabia. The illustrations across the collection are based on five different Moomin comic strips originally published in the British newspaper Evening News during the 1950s.
