Moomin Mug Sweethearts is a 2026 novelty mug by Moomin Arabia and part of the Classics series, remaining in continuous production. The mug has a capacity of 0.3 litres. The Sweethearts collection was released at the same time as the Loving Care collection in early 2026. The theme of the Sweethearts mug is love, expressed especially through forgiveness and reconciliation. The illustration is based on several comic strip stories by Tove and Lars Jansson. On the mug, Moomintroll believes he has found a logbook about mermaids on the shore, but it turns out to be Snorkmaiden’s closely guarded diary. The misunderstanding enrages Snorkmaiden, and she whacks Moomintroll on the head with the book. On the other side of the mug, the mood has completely changed. The sweethearts have made up, and Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden are depicted embracing in a sea of flowers. The Sweethearts mug illustration is based on three different comic strip stories: Moomin under Sail (1959), The Conscientious Moomins (1958) and Snorkmaiden Goes Rococo (1958). In addition to the mug, the Sweethearts collection includes a plate, bowl, mini mug and tray.
