The illustration on this plate features Moominpappa preparing the Moominhouse for winter so that the cold won't catch them by surprise during their hibernation. He is patching the windows with boards. The grey Moominpappa tableware collection includes a mug, bowl, and plate. The illustrations are based on Tove Jansson's comic Moominwinter from 1959. The background color of the mug is a subtle grey, with muted yellow tones in the details.
