Christmas Greetings was released for Christmas 1997. It started a series of special Moomin mugs with a new colouring style. The production was discontinued in 2002. The images used in the design were a part of a postcard illustration Tove Jansson created for Unicef in 1981, called March for Peace. The images were chosen from Tove Jansson’s novel Fir Tree and comic #5 Moomin’s Winter Follies. This mug combines Tove Jansson’s original images and Tove Slotte’s subtle design.
