Mug Hemulen was released in 2004 and the production was discontinued in 2013. Tove Slotte found the fitting images from Tove and Lars Jansson’s comic #16 Conscientious Moomin and from Tove Jansson’s first novel Comet in Moominland. In the lilac mug Hemulen is pictured in one of his favourite hobbies: Studying insects with his magnifying glass. The image is from Tove Jansson’s first novel Comet in Moominland. In the other picture Hemulen is also doing his research, whereas in the original image he is by his desk, writing.
