Designed by Oiva Toikka in 1964, Kastehelmi is one of Finland's best-known glassware collections. The raised glass droplets that decorate its surface were originally conceived as a way to conceal the seams left by pressed-glass molds. Kastehelmi returned to Iittala's collection in 2010, and the series' 64 mm tealight candleholders were introduced in 2012. Candlelight brings the droplet pattern to life, creating beautiful reflections that vary depending on the color of the glass.

Over the years, Kastehelmi tealight candleholders have been produced in dozens of colors, from clear and grey to cranberry, lavender, ultramarine blue and pine green. Some shades remained in production for only a few years, while others have returned to the collection after a break. In 2021, the series also welcomed a tealight candleholder made entirely from recycled glass, with shades that vary between production batches.

On Mukify, you can explore the different colors, production years and product details of Kastehelmi tealight candleholders. Add the pieces you own to your collection and save the favorites you're missing to your wishlist.

Moomin POP mugs are a new mug series released by Moomin Arabia in 2025, available exclusively in Japan. Each POP mug holds 0.3 liters, and the launch collection includes four character mugs: Snufkin, Moomintroll, Little My, and Snorkmaiden.

Inside every POP mug, you’ll find a small speech bubble with an English quote characteristic of the featured character – a charming detail that makes each mug special.

Unlike earlier Arabia Moomin mugs, the POP series is not based on Kaj Franck’s Teema design, but on the Mainio model designed by Irina Viippola in 2018. POP mugs are also made of stoneware and feature several unique details: on the bottom, the familiar painting Moomintroll has been replaced by a painting Little My.

POP mugs come without stickers and are sold in individual gift boxes. They are microwave and oven safe, but hand washing is recommended.

Moomintroll is a lovable and happy creature, and he longs for adventure. He is always at the heart of the event. He cares for his friends very much, and wants everyone around him to be happy. Just like the other Moomins, Moomintroll loves the sea. Moomintroll is a great combination of his parents: He is brave and adventurous like Moominpappa, as well as kind and compassionate like Moominmamma.

The best place in the world for Moomintroll is Moominvalley, and he never fails to find an adventure. His fearlessness and longing for adventure sometimes carry him out of the Valley. Moomintroll is a roundish character, and he has a tussle at the end of his tail.

In spite of his young age, Moomintroll has experienced the highs and lows of romance with his girlfriend Snorkmaiden.

Moomintroll first appeared in Tove Jansson’s novel The Moomins and the Great Flood.
