The harmonious blue and white collection is an ode to Tove Jansson’s life and work. The design is inspired by the soft, tactile forms of the rocky island of Klovharun, where Tove spent her summers. The illustrations are inspired by wreaths designed by the artist herself.

The frightening Groke is a mystical creature in Moominvalley, and many are afraid of her because of her monstrous appearance. Groke spreads coldness around her and even the ground freezes under her. Groke hardly ever speaks a word and wanders around as she pleases, without seeking permission from anyone. Moomins are a bit intimidated by Groke, but they also pity her. Groke has a huge body, large eyes and a nose and a wide set of teeth. Groke first appeared in Tove Jansson’s novel Finn Family Moomintroll.
