The Summer 2025 seasonal plate Beach Day continues the tradition of previous summer plates by depicting the Moomins enjoying summery activities. This time, the familiar characters from the Moomin family are shown having a picnic on the beach. In addition to the mug and plate, the Summer 2025 collection includes a range of beach textiles. The artwork on the plate is based on the comic strip The Proposal by Tove and Lars Jansson from 1959. The composition for the Beach Day plate was created by designer Parvati Pillai, a member of the Moomin Arabia design team. According to Pillai, the illustration captures the light and carefree feeling of a summer day at the beach.
