Moomin Children's Dishes

Moomin ceramics manufactured by Arabia have their roots in children's dishes from the 1950s, when Arabia released two children's mugs and a shallow and deep plate. These 50s Moomin dishes, which were only in production for a short time, have become real collectible rarities. The illustrations of these dishes are designed by Tove Jansson. The next Moomin children's tableware and children's mugs did not appear until the 90s. Typically, children's tableware includes a children's mug and a plate. Illustrator and graphic artist Tove Slotte has designed, edited and composed Tove Jansson's original illustrations and drawings to fit the Arabia Moomin ceramics.
